Description: Official matched set of Cassina engraved Le Corbusier LC2
Pair of distressed leather chairs distributed and labeled by a.i. (Atelier International) circa late 1960s/1970s, in Great Structural Condition, with heavily distressed original brown leather upholstery. Cushions are the more expensive Down-Wrapped Cushions, and are in nice "settled" shape, free of any hardness, dryness, or crushed zones. Frames are original mirror polished Chromed Steel, and show the occasional moving scratch here and there, and very light beginnings of oxidation and pitting (proving it's original/vintage authenticity). There are no overly excessive gouges or chips of any kind. The LC2 created by Le CorbusierTM, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, in 1928, exists today exhibited in the Permanent Design Collection, of MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art, NY). This set is BEAUTIFUL, and looks completely "Authentic" to its age.
